Family Building Blocks - Healthy Families America
Healthy Families America uses a family resource and support model as the primary offering of services but then provides additional and more intensive support and resource awareness services. The target groups for these services are first time parents (prenatal through three years of age) and especially families with high risk factors. These factors include: income at or below poverty level, single parent, adolescent parent, parent of special need children. Included in this target group are also first time parents who have been reported for abuse/neglect but whose report was not listed as confirmed. This voluntary service is provided through a grant from the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
